Description: Through a chemical treatment process, we remove any curl, kinks, or texture from the brow hair, resulting in smooth, straight brows that can easily be repositioned and fanned out for a fuller appearance lasting six to eight weeks. What's the difference between a lash lift and lash extensions?
They’re solving different problems. Lash extensions add length and volume by attaching individual synthetic lashes to your natural ones — the result is dramatic and customizable, but requires fills every two to three weeks to maintain as your natural lashes shed. A lash lift works with what you have, curling your natural lashes from the root to create a more awake, open-eyed look without any added length or volume. It lasts about six weeks with zero maintenance in between. If your natural lashes are reasonably full and you want a low-maintenance result, a lash lift is often the better fit. If you want significant added length or volume, extensions are the tool for that.
How long do brow and lash treatments last?
Brow tinting typically lasts three to four weeks before fading. Brow shaping results depend on your hair growth cycle but most clients return every four to six weeks. Brow lamination and lash lifts both last approximately six to eight weeks. Tint applied as part of a lash lift darkens the lashes for a similar duration. Your provider will give you a maintenance recommendation based on your specific treatment.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my appointment?
Come with a clean face — no makeup on the brows or lashes. Avoid waterproof mascara for a couple of days before a lash lift, as residue can affect how well the treatment takes. If you wear contact lenses, bring your case — you’ll be more comfortable having them out during a lash treatment. No other special preparation is needed.
What do I need to avoid after a lash lift or brow lamination?
For the first 24–48 hours after either treatment, keep the area dry and avoid steam, sweating heavily, or anything that creates prolonged heat or moisture around the face. This includes hot showers directed at the face, saunas, and swimming. After that window the results are set and you can return to your normal routine. Your provider will send you home with specific aftercare instructions.
Will the tint look too dark or unnatural?
The goal is always enhancement, not drama — unless drama is what you’re going for. Tint shades are selected to complement your natural coloring, and your provider will discuss the right depth for your skin tone and hair color before anything is applied. The tint softens as it settles in the first day or two, so what you see immediately post-treatment is the deepest it will look.
Can I get a lash lift if I wear glasses or have sensitive eyes?
Glasses aren’t an issue — in fact many clients love the lift because it means their lashes no longer brush against their lenses. For sensitive eyes, let your provider know before your appointment. The solution used in a lash lift doesn’t come into direct contact with the eye itself, but extra care can be taken for clients who are prone to sensitivity.
